.On June 28,2008, a love for a lifetime, WELL CHOSEN #0219966 bay stallion foaled 11/12/80, (*ALADDINN x BASKS DELIGHT), literally eased from our arms to a pain free world of peace. Almost twenty-eight years of age, his last two years had been challenging. With a wisdom that only those who knew him could appreciate, WELL CHOSEN knew that it was his time... and he gave us the opportunity to hold him close until the end. Somehow rational knowledge remains inadequate compared to the numb void of a final farewell to such an honest friend and confidant... one symbolic of so much good...
Gratitude prevails for our blessed lives, the many new friends made because of him, and for the heavenly images of his soulful graveside salute... WELL CHOSEN is buried here and lives on among us best through his progeny. He still makes one smile to imagine his cantering across the greener meadows of heaven, amusing everyone in sight with his assorted clownish antics...
